It explains what these technologies are, the information they may collect, their purposes, how choices can be managed or withdrawn, and how requirements may differ between jurisdictions.

03What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files or pieces of data that may be stored on a device when a person visits a website. They can enable a website or another service to recognise a browser or device during a visit or later visits. Depending on purpose, they may provide functionality, maintain security, remember preferences, understand use, measure performance, support embedded content, or assist communications or marketing where permitted.

Some cookies are necessary for a website or requested feature. Others should only be used after an appropriate choice or consent where required. Cookie identifiers and associated technical information may be personal information where they relate to an identifiable individual or device.

04Similar technologies

Similar technologies may include local or session storage, software-development-kit identifiers, pixels, tags, scripts, web beacons, embedded code, device identifiers, server logs, link tracking and browser or device signals. References to cookies may include these technologies where appropriate. We do not state that a particular technology is active unless verified in the current implementation.

05First-party and third-party cookies

A first-party cookie is set by or for the website visited. A third-party cookie is set by another organisation whose technology, content or service is used through the website. First-party technologies may support security, preference management, session operation and consent records. Third-party technologies can arise from analytics, embedded media, maps, forms, event tools, social content, external fonts or advertising where used.

The presence of a third-party service does not mean every category is used. Third parties may process information under their own terms.

06Session and persistent cookies

Session cookies normally remain only for a browser session. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until deleted. Duration depends on purpose, configuration, service settings, browser controls, withdrawn choices and implementation changes. We do not invent durations where current configuration has not been confirmed.

07Categories of technologies

Strictly necessary technologies

These may support secure delivery, network management, form security, authentication where relevant, consent-preference storage and essential sessions. They should not be used for unrelated analytics, advertising or profiling.

Functional and preference technologies

These may remember language, display, accessibility, form or other settings. Where consent is required, they should remain inactive until an appropriate choice.

Analytics and performance technologies

These may measure visits, navigation, errors, performance and useful content. Where consent is required, they should remain inactive until consent.

Advertising and targeting technologies

These may measure advertising, infer interests, personalise advertising or track activity across services. We do not state that Just Verify uses them unless verified.

Embedded content and external-service technologies

External videos, maps, event services, social content, scheduling tools, security challenges, forms or document viewers may use technologies when loaded or used.

08Current cookie and technology register

The current source implementation audit identifies two confirmed external technologies: Google Fonts for typography delivery and Cloudflare Turnstile for security checks on the Contact, Partnership, Think Tank and Roundtable forms. No analytics, tag managers, advertising pixels, account functionality or consent-management scripts are currently identified. Turnstile may process browser, device, network and interaction information needed to assess whether a form submission is legitimate and generate a short-lived response token for server-side validation.

This register must be updated when technologies change. No cookie names, providers or durations have been inferred beyond the verified source request.

09Managing cookie choices

Where non-essential technologies requiring consent are used, visitors should receive an appropriate choice before activation. Possible choices can include accepting or rejecting optional technologies or selecting categories. Strictly necessary technologies may remain active where needed for a requested service.

The current implementation audit found no cookie banner, category controls or Cookie Settings interface. We therefore do not provide a non-functional control on this page or claim that category controls currently exist.

10Changing or withdrawing choices

Where consent is relied upon, it should be as easy to withdraw as to provide. A visitor may be able to change choices through a future website preference interface, deleting relevant cookies, browser settings, device controls or by contacting Just Verify where appropriate. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Technologies already stored may remain until expiry or deletion but should not continue to be used without required permission.

11Browser and device controls

Most browsers and devices allow users to review, block or delete cookies, clear website data, receive alerts and manage permissions. Blocking all cookies can affect security, preference storage, forms, embedded content and remembered choices. Browser and device controls are supplied by third parties and may change over time.

12Consent records

Where required, Just Verify or a cookie-management provider may retain a record of selected categories, date and time, notice version, a preference identifier, limited technical information, approximate jurisdiction and changes or withdrawal. Records may respect a choice, demonstrate compliance, maintain controls and investigate issues. We do not claim that these fields are currently collected; the current implementation has no verified consent-management system.

13Information collected

Depending on the technology and choices, cookies and similar technologies may collect IP address, browser and device information, display information, approximate location, referring source, pages viewed, dates and times, time spent, navigation paths, interactions, errors, identifiers, consent preferences and security information. The information depends on the technology in use. We will consider notice, consent or another lawful basis before using it for a materially different purpose. 14External content and third-party services

The website may link to or display third-party videos, maps, social content, event-registration services, scheduling services, external forms, research platforms, document services or security tools. A third party may use technologies when content loads, you interact, follow a link, use an account or have accepted that third party's terms. Where practical and required, non-essential content should remain blocked until an appropriate choice.

We do not control every technology used after you leave the website. Review the relevant third-party privacy and cookie information. A link does not mean endorsement or control of its practices.

15International processing

Providers of website, analytics, communication, security, hosting or embedded services may process information outside a visitor's country. Where cookie or technical information is personal information and a restricted transfer occurs, we should use an appropriate mechanism, such as adequacy arrangements, approved contractual safeguards, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum, standard contractual clauses or another legally permitted mechanism. The mechanism depends on provider, destination, law, information and safeguards. We do not state that all cookie information remains in the United Kingdom.

16UK, EEA and Switzerland

Where UK, EEA or Swiss requirements apply, non-essential technologies should be used only after appropriate consent unless another permitted basis applies. Consent should be freely given, specific, informed, affirmative and withdrawable. Visitors should be able to reject optional technologies without being prevented from ordinary public content, except where a selected non-essential feature cannot operate without them.

Strictly necessary technologies may operate to transmit a communication, provide a service requested, maintain security or perform another recognised essential function. Non-essential technologies should not be activated before a required choice, use preselected optional categories, or be described as necessary without justification.

17United States privacy information

United States requirements vary by state and technology use. Residents of some states may have rights relating to access, deletion, correction, targeted advertising, sale or sharing, profiling, sensitive information, non-discrimination and appeals. Cookies and similar technologies may constitute sale, sharing or targeted advertising under some laws even where no money changes hands.

We do not state whether Just Verify sells, shares or uses information for targeted advertising until advertising scripts, tracking, analytics configurations, social pixels, disclosures and embedded services have been audited. Questions may be sent to contact@justverify.ai.

18Canadian privacy information

Where Canadian federal or provincial law applies, cookies and similar technologies should meet applicable consent, transparency and reasonableness requirements. Visitors may have rights to understand use, withdraw consent where relied upon, request access or correction, challenge compliance and complain to a relevant regulator. 19Other jurisdictions

Visitors elsewhere may have additional rights or choices concerning cookies, tracking technologies and personal information, including notice, consent, withdrawal, opt out, restriction, access, deletion and complaint rights. We will consider requirements based on location, technology, purpose, provider and information collected. This policy does not imply that every right or consent requirement applies identically worldwide.

20Global Privacy Control

Global Privacy Control is a browser or device signal that may communicate an opt-out preference for certain sales, sharing or tracking. Where applicable law requires recognition of a valid signal, Just Verify should treat it in accordance with that law. The current source audit found no Global Privacy Control detection or handling. We do not claim that the website detects or honours the signal until technically verified.

21Children

The website is directed primarily to organisations, professionals and adult participants and is not intended principally for children. We do not knowingly use cookies or similar technologies to build advertising profiles of children through the website. A person under 18 should use the website with appropriate permission and supervision where required. If information relating to a child is collected inappropriately through website technologies, we will take reasonable steps to review and handle it under applicable law. 22Retention

Technology retention depends on type, purpose and verified configuration. Session technologies may expire when a browser session ends. Persistent technologies may remain until configured expiry, deletion, withdrawn choice, removal, replacement or the purpose ends. Consent and preference records may be retained reasonably to respect choices, demonstrate compliance, maintain controls or investigate issues. Security and server logs may be retained under operational, security and legal requirements. We do not invent fixed durations; information should be deleted, anonymised or no longer used when not reasonably required.

23Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this policy for website or technology changes, new providers, consent controls, legal or regulatory developments, security requirements or operational changes. The revised version will be published here with an updated effective or last-updated date. A material change affecting optional technologies or choices may lead to an updated notice, new choice, reset preferences or another notice. Earlier versions may be retained for legal, accountability or records purposes.
