01About these Terms

These Website Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Just Verify website, including its public pages, resources, contact and enquiry forms, downloadable materials, links, tools and features.

Separate terms may apply to commercial services, verification work, partnerships, research, Think Tank participation, events or other activities. Those terms do not form part of these Website Terms unless expressly stated. Where a separate written agreement applies, it takes priority if there is a conflict.

These Terms should be read with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any notices or additional terms displayed for a particular website feature, resource, form or activity.

04Who May Use the Website

The website is intended for organisations, professionals, researchers, policymakers, contributors and other people considering Just Verify activities. You must have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms. The website is not directed primarily at children.

05Purpose and Scope of the Website

The website provides general information about independent AI verification, Trust Infrastructure for AI, Just Verify solutions, the Initiative, Think Tank, Trust Lab, research and resources, events and roundtables, and opportunities for partnership or participation.

Nothing on the website automatically creates a certification, regulatory status, standards authority, conformity assessment, guarantee or formal verification finding. Formal findings are available only where expressly agreed in a written engagement.

06Website Access

We may provide access on a temporary basis and may change, suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the website without notice. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors.

You are responsible for making the arrangements needed to access the website and for ensuring that anyone using your internet connection complies with applicable laws and these Terms.

07Permitted Use

You may use the website lawfully to learn about Just Verify, access public information, contact us, consider services or participation, and share links to public pages. You may use reasonable extracts for internal, non-misleading reference where you preserve applicable notices and comply with these Terms and the law.

08Prohibited Use

You must not use the website unlawfully or fraudulently; interfere with its operation; introduce malware; attempt unauthorised access; carry out denial-of-service activity; scrape or collect content unreasonably; bypass security; impersonate another person; submit false information; misuse forms; make false claims of affiliation, certification or endorsement; or use protected content outside the permissions in these Terms.

This does not prevent lawful exercise of rights or authorised security research carried out responsibly and in accordance with applicable law.

09Intellectual Property Rights

We and our licensors own intellectual property rights in the website and its content, including text, design, graphics, diagrams, visual systems, branding, methodologies, frameworks, software, code, databases, publications, research, reports and downloads. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

10Just Verify Names, Marks and Branding

Just Verify names and marks, including Trust Infrastructure for AI, the Initiative, Think Tank and Trust Lab, may not be used without our prior written permission. No use of the website creates a licence, status, endorsement, certification, partnership or other affiliation.

11Information and Materials on the Website

We aim to keep information accurate, but it may not always be complete, current, suitable for every purpose or available in every jurisdiction. You should independently verify information material to your circumstances and not rely on the website as the sole basis for a legal, regulatory, financial, operational, security or technical decision.

12Information You Submit

Information submitted through contact, partnership, Think Tank or event forms, or by email, must be accurate, lawful and provided with all necessary permissions. Do not submit confidential information, trade secrets, passwords, access credentials, sensitive personal data or unauthorised material unless we have agreed an appropriate secure arrangement.

Submitting information does not create a confidential, commercial, advisory, partnership, client or formal engagement relationship.

13Enquiries and Communications

We may respond to enquiries at our discretion. An enquiry does not guarantee a response, acceptance, participation, service, collaboration or other outcome. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, and you are responsible for providing accurate contact details.

14Third-Party Links and Services

The website may link to third-party websites, platforms, reports, research, social media, events, technology or service providers. We do not control those services and do not endorse or accept responsibility for them. Review their own terms and privacy information before using them.

15Privacy and Cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and process personal information. Our Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies may be used and how visitors can manage their preferences. These policies do not replace these Terms.

16Website Availability and Changes

We may update, remove, restructure, archive or replace website pages, descriptions, programmes, events, research, services, features, navigation and downloadable materials. We do not promise that particular information or features will remain available.

17Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the website, but no website or communication is completely secure. You are responsible for your devices, systems, email account, passwords and communications. To report a potential vulnerability, contact contact@justverify.ai and do not publicly disclose it before we have had a reasonable opportunity to assess it.

18Suspension and Restriction of Access

We may restrict, suspend or block access where we reasonably believe there is a breach of these Terms, a security risk, misuse, unlawful activity, interference with the website or risk of harm. We may preserve and report relevant information where required or permitted by law.

19No Professional or Regulatory Advice

The website provides general information only. It is not legal, regulatory, financial, investment, cybersecurity or technical assurance advice, certification, conformity assessment or a formal verification finding. Seek appropriate independent advice. Formal findings depend on an agreed engagement, methodology, evidence and scope.

20Disclaimers

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

21Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. For business users, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data or opportunity arising from use of the website. You must not rely on the website as your sole source of information. Consumer rights are unaffected.

22Responsibility for Losses and Indemnity

If you use the website on behalf of a business, you may be responsible for reasonable losses, costs and claims arising from your unlawful use, breach of these Terms or infringement of another person's rights, subject to applicable law. This clause does not impose a broad or unfair indemnity on consumers and does not exclude consumer rights.

23Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in law, regulation, website operation, features, programmes, security, services or public activities. Revised Terms will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use after publication may amount to acceptance where permitted by law. Existing written contracts remain governed by their own terms.
